Australian representation to the Dewey Editorial Policy Committee

This year we have seen a changing of the guard in relation to Australian representation to the Dewey Editorial Policy Committee (EPC). Anne M. Robertson has stepped down after many years of service to the worldwide Dewey community. Anne was first appointed to the EPC in 2000 and also served as Vice-Chair of the EPC for a number of years from 2006. During her time on the EPC, Anne ably represented Australian interests and viewpoints, and also periodically reviewed the numbers relating to Australian in the schedules and tables.

Melissa Parent is the new Australian representative to the EPC and attended her first annual face-to-face EPC meeting in Dublin, Ohio during early June. Melissa is Senior Librarian (Access and Standards) at the Australian Catholic University and has been a member of ACOC since July 2014. If you wish to contact Melissa in relation to Dewey matters, her contact details are available on the ACOC membership page.
