AMI is published in two formats: CD-ROM and online.
AMI is one of eight Australian databases on AUSThealth which covers health and medicine and is published by RMIT Publishing. AMI coverage is from 1968. For subscription details, contact RMIT Publishing
AMI is available online via the Internet as part of the Informit Online service from RMIT Publishing. Webspirs software is being phased out and the new Informit Search interface is now being used for searching and retrieval.
Meditext is a full text version of AMI also available from Informit Online. It not only contains AMI citation records but also links to scanned images of articles from around 100 Australian medical journals indexed in AMI. Full text coverage is from 1996. A list of Comprehensively Indexed Journals in AMI is available. Many articles from these journals are available as full text images in Meditext.
AMI indexes approximately 16 electronic journals and conference proceedings archived in PANDORA. A list of Electronic journals and electronic conferences indexed in AMI is available.
Individual researchers can order copies of any articles indexed in AMI through the National Librarys Copies Direct service. Libraries can send requests to the Library's Document Supply Service.
Many AMI records contain links to full text articles on journal websites. The Meditext full text version of AMI contains scanned images of articles from over 100 journals indexed by AMI.
