National Archives (Great Britain)National Archives (Great Britain): The National Archives is the UK government's official archive, containing over 1,000 years of history. The collection contains over 11 million historical government and public records and is one of the largest in the world, containing paper and parchment, electronic records and websites, photographs, posters, maps, drawings and paintings. The catalogue is available to search online.
National Archives of AustraliaNational Archives of Australia: The records in the collection of the National Archives of Australia trace the events and decisions that shaped the nation. Papers of Governors-General, Prime Ministers and Ministers are held as well as Cabinet documents, Royal Commission files and departmental records on defence, immigration, security and intelligence, naturalisation, and many other issues involving the federal government. The main focus is on records created since the formation of the Commonwealth of Australia in 1901. There are also some nineteenth-century records relating to functions that were transferred by the colonies to the Commonwealth government, including shipping and post offices. Most records in the collection are files, but there are also significant holdings of photographs, posters, maps, architectural drawings, films, playscripts, musical scores and sound recordings.
National Film and Sound ArchiveNational Film and Sound Archive: The National Film and Sound Archive is the national audiovisual archive for Australia. The Archive preserves and shares Australia's moving images and sound recordings from the first film images to the modern classics. The catalogue of the Archive is available to search online.
NewspaperSGNational Library of Singapore: Online database containing the full text of current and historical Singapore and Malaya newspapers. Content covers the years 1831-2009, although not comprehensively. Newspapers include Straits Times, Straits Eurasian Advocate, Malayan Saturday Post and the Straits Chinese Herald.

NINES: Nineteenth Century Scholarship Online: NINES (Networked Infrastructure for Nineteenth Century Electronic Scholarship) provides digital collections and other resources for the undertaking of nineteenth century studies. Provides access to nearly one million digital objects and 119 sites. Content includes primary and secondary materials, images, catalgoue records, digital projects and subscription databases.
Nineteenth Century British Library Newspapers (parts I and II)Gale: The 19th Century British Library newspapers collection contains full runs of 48 national, regional and local newspapers. Titles were specially selected by the British Library to best represent nineteenth century Britain, from business to sport, from politics to entertainment and the arts. The collection focuses on newspapers from London, the English regions, home country newspapers from Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, and titles in specialist areas such as Victorian radicalism and Chartism. Titles were selected to reflect the social and political developments of the times in which they were published. The original collection was augmented by the release of Part II, which includes an additional 22 regional newspapers, further expanding the geographical, social and political range of titles available. Mura Gadi is an online guide to significant manuscripts, pictures and oral histories in the National Library of Australia relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples prior to 2003.
