32. FreeOzLife: Australian Biography Index

National Library of Australia: OzLife commenced in September 2000 (includes earlier articles from The Canberra Times) and provides web access until June 2005 to the citations for biographical articles selected from the following Australian major national and metropolitan newspapers: The Advertiser (Adelaide); The Age (Melbourne); The Australian; The Australian Financial Review; The Canberra Times; The Courier Mail (Brisbane); The Mercury (Hobart); The Sydney Morning Herald; and The West Australian. Articles on prominent Australians in all walks of life, including musicians, authors, politicians and business executives, are included. Until September 2002 OzLife also indexed book reviews on works of Australian fiction and non-fiction which appeared in Australian journals and newspapers.

Poetry Portal is a directory of worldwide poetry online. Containing poetry sites, audio poetry, literary appreciation, criticism and reviews, poetry courses, workshops, conferences, book news, literary discussion and trade news.

35. FreeProject Gutenberg of Australia

Project Gutenberg produces books in electronic form (etexts) and makes them freely available to the public. The books are in the 'public domain' and there are presently over 4,000 etexts available.

36. FreeRAAM: Register of Australian Archives and Manuscripts

The RAAM database contains records describing non-government archives held in Australian archival repositories and libraries. It includes all collections of manuscript and archival material whether of Australian origin or not; single unpublished items provided they are primary sources, eg a letter, a deed, a diary; photocopies or microfilms of manuscript or archival material, including non-government overseas material relating directly to Australia; and personal records held in government archives.

40. FreeWilliam Blake Archive

A hypermedia archive sponsored by the Library of Congress and supported by the Preservation and Access Division of the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities at the University of Virginia, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Archive contains fully searchable and scalable electronic editions of thousands of Blake's images and texts.
