Selected overseas sources are also reviewed for material on Australian subjects. This resource commenced in print as the Australian Public Affairs Information Service or APAIS in 1945; online availability dates from 1978. Early issues from 1952-1977 are at RF 016.3 AUS.

Australian Securities Commission: Free searches provide basic details about an organisation on ASIC's National Names Index. Simply enter the organisation's name and/or the ABN or ACN number. This gives you general information such as: company names, business names,(national), Australian Company Numbers (ACNs) and Australian Registered Body Numbers (ARBNs), type of company, locality of the office, list of documents lodged etc.
