It is prepared by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and contains abstracts of published material sourced from leading journals and magazines.
Informit: A bibliographic database that bibliographic database that indexes articles on management, training and related fields from 1991 onwards. Journals indexed are predominantly Australian, with some New Zealand and Southeast Asian titles included. Subject coverage includes management, training, human resources, communication and marketing. Formerly known as Australian Exporters and Manufacturers, Australian B2B has been published since 1964 and includes details on over 47,000 comanies and over 56,000 executive names. Published by JPM Media, this database contributes to the Kompass global network of databases.
Informit: A bibliographic database that indexed articles from published material on the social sciences and humanities. Source documents included a wide range of periodicals, newspapers, scholarly journals, conference papers and books. Subject coverage includes current affairs, economics, humanities, law, literature, politics and social sciences. Approximately 250 journals were comprehensively indexed, as well as selective indexing from many other Australian journals and conference proceedings, and some overseas journals carrying articles with an Australian content. Australian Securities Commission: Free searches provide basic details about an organisation on ASIC's National Names Index. Simply enter the organisation's name and/or the ABN or ACN number. This gives you general information such as: company names, business names,(national), Australian Company Numbers (ACNs) and Australian Registered Body Numbers (ARBNs), type of company, locality of the office, list of documents lodged etc.
Informit: A bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts journals primarily in the area of taxation law but also including other areas of interest such as child support, accounting, business, finance and superannuation. Source documents are journal articles from over 20 journals. Journals such as 'The Bulletin' and 'BRW' are indexed selectively for taxation and related information while others are indexed comprehensively with relevant cases and legislative references included.
