Society of Australian Genealogists: This CD contains indexes to 3.9 million records drawn from the collections of 39 family history societies and institutions throughout Australia and New Zealand and is available to researchers in this fully searchable format for the first time. 19th & 20th century data drawn from cemetery records, shipping arrivals, newspaper entries, council rate books and war memorials are among the records included. Australian CemeteriesAustralian Cemeteries Mailing List: This site contains a list of all known Australian cemeteries. The list provides contact information for each cemetery. Also provided, if available, are links to online burial indexes and/or contact points for 'look ups' and transcripts of burial lists.
Australian Medical Pioneers Index: A database of over 3,000 pioneer doctors, from the 1700s through to 1875. The site covers Australian medical history, with a database of medical pioneers and educational background material. Includesdoctors who were registered or qualified in Australia, were resident in Australia, or visited here in a professional capacity, before 1875. Ships' surgeons, convict doctors, general practitioners and medical specialists are included.

J.S. Shaw North Publishing: This online database records details of 27, 500 births in the Australian colonies, representing approximately 15,000 pioneer families. The breakdown of the records are: 23,648 in New South Wales, 2,600 in Tasmania, 885 on Norfolk Island, 330 Aborigines or part-Aborigines, 1 on Kangaroo Island (S. Aust.), 1 on Melville Island (N.T.) and 9 on King Island (Tas.). This CD-ROM is the online version of the 2nd ed. of the print "Births in Australia 1788-1828" compiled by James Hugh Donohoe. Print editions can requested online from the catalogue for use in the Main Reading Room.

Convict transportation registers databaseState Library of Queensland: The British convict transportation registers 1787-1867 database has been compiled from the HO 11 Criminal - Convict Transportation Registers series of British Home Office records. Over 123,000 out of the estimated 160,000 convicts transported to Australia are recorded in this database. These include prisoners sent to New South Wales, Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania), Moreton Bay (Brisbane), Western Australia and Norfolk Island. Also recorded are some ships which were bound for Gibraltar. The records cover the period of 1787 to 1867. You may find the following information on each entry: Name of convict, including any known aliases, Place of trial [The date of trial is recorded on the original registers and will be gradually added to this database], Term of sentence, Name of ship and date of departure, Place of arrival, Miscellaneous notes e.g. Died at sea; Ticket of Leave, etc. These records mainly include those convicted in England and Scotland. Only a small number of Irish convicts appear in this series of the Home Office records. The database also includes soldiers who had been court-martialled and sentenced to transportation. These "soldier convicts" may have been convicted in various British colonies including the West Indies, India, Pakistan and Canada.

Debt of Honour Register (Commonwealth War Graves Commission)This Register provides personal and service details and places of commemoration for the 1.7 million members of the Commonwealth forces who died in the First or Second World Wars. A record some 60,000 civilian casualties of the Second World War is provided without details of burial location. The cemeteries and memorials where these names are commemorated, in perpetuity, are located in around 150 countries This database makes it possible to identify the exact location, by cemetery plot or memorial panel, where any given name is commemorated. These places of commemoration are maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
