1. FreeIndex to Passengers arriving in Fremantle by ship 1926 - 1947

National Archives of Australia: An online database that includes the names from passenger lists in the National Archives series K269, Inward passenger manifests for ships and aircraft arriving at Fremantle, Perth Airport and outports, chronological series, 1898-1978. So far only records for the period 1926-1947 are available to search online. The index is useful to those undertaking family history research because many ships bound for the eastern Australian states passed through Fremantle. The Fremantle passenger lists include all those passengers who disembarked in Fremantle and they often also include all other passengers who travelled further on the same ship and disembarked in other Australian or overseas ports. West Australian Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages: Online index to Western Australian birth, death and marriage records provided by the WA Department of the Attorney General. The birth index covers the period 1841-1932, the marriage index covers the period 1841-1927 and the death index covers the period 1841-1953.
