Convict Connections: A list of convict ships sent to the Australian colonies, including arrival date, the port they departed from and their destination.
: The Find and Connect website brings together records relating to institutional care in Australia. It contains information about and images of childrens homes, as well as information about where records relating to care can be found such as government departments or past providers of care. It does not contain personal information or private records. This website contains information that is relevant to anyone who experienced out of home care in Australia, not only the Forgotten Australians and Former Child Migrants but also members of the Stolen Generations, foster children, wards of state and adopted children.
Findmypast: Find My Past is a family history and genealogy website. The National Library of Australia subscribes to the collections covering the UK, Australia and New Zealand, and Ireland (not the United States and Canada collections). Users may select the collection they wish to search from the Search box on the Find my Past homepage. (If the United States and Canada collection is selected, users are only able to access the small amount of free information available, not the complete collection.) Popular records contained in the collections include birth, marriage and death records; census records; British newspapers; parish baptisms, marriages and burials; military records, and passenger lists of ships leaving the UK. A key collection is that of the British in India, produced in partnership with the British Library, and including the records of the British India Office and the East India company
: A database allowing users to search for convicts to Western Australia either by name of ship or convict name. Information includes date of birth, marital status, occupation, court of sentencing, length of sentence, ticket of leave date, conditional pardon date.
National Archives of Australia: An online database that includes the names from passenger lists in the National Archives series K269, Inward passenger manifests for ships and aircraft arriving at Fremantle, Perth Airport and outports, chronological series, 1898-1978. The index is useful to those undertaking family history research because many ships bound for the eastern Australian states passed through Fremantle. The Fremantle passenger lists include all those passengers who disembarked in Fremantle and they often also include all other passengers who travelled further on the same ship and disembarked in other Australian or overseas ports.
Western Australian Maritime Museum: Allows searching of the museum collections for shipwreck information, shipwreck artefacts, numismatic (coin) materials, as well as the ANCODS (Agreement between Australia and the Netherlands Concerning Old Dutch Shipwrecks) collection.

West Australian Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages: Online index to Western Australian birth, death and marriage records provided by the WA Department of the Attorney General. The birth index covers the period 1841-1932, the marriage index covers the period 1841-1936 and the death index covers the period 1841-1971.
