BarNet: Jade is a current awareness service that collects recent decisions of selected Australian Courts and Tribunals into an enhanced database. Although all basic Jade features are free, registration is required to use the customiseable options.

Provides detailed information on the Jiminto Seimu Chosakai committee. AVAILABLE ONLY THROUGH THE JAPANESE PUBLIC PC IN THE ASIAN COLLECTIONS READING ROOM.

International Labor Organisation: Labordoc contains references to a wide range of print and electronic publications, including journal articles, from countries around the world, on all aspects of work and sustainable livelihoods, and the work-related aspects of economic and social development and human rights. Labordoc provides an ever increasing number of links to online publications available on the Internet. Documents are also available via the National Library's catalogue, as NLA is a depository library for ILO publications.

: Lawcite is a freely available case citator service developed by Austlii. It is used to locate judgements, to find how a decision has been subsequently dealt with and to identify journal articles referring to the case.

56. FreeLegal Database

Australian Taxation Office: The Legal Database is a collection of legal and policy information. Here you have access to much of the material the Australian Tax Office uses when making decisions, including: Legislation and supporting material, Public Rulings and Determinations, Case Decision Summaries (details of important decisions made by the ATO), ATO Practice Statements (directions to ATO staff on how to apply the laws administered by the Commissioner), Tax related case law.

HMSO: The official home of UK legislation from 1267 to the present, continuously updated as new legislation is enacted. It carries most legislation and accompanying explanatory documents. Primary legislation includes but is not limited to, the Acts of the following Parliaments and Assemblies; Public General Acts of the United Kingdom Parliament, Acts of the Parliament of Great Britain , Acts of the English Parliament , Acts of the Scottish Parliament, Measures of the National Assembly for Wales, Acts of the Irish Parliament, Acts of the Parliament of Northern Ireland, Acts of the Northern Ireland Assembly. : The official newspaper of record for the United Kingdom. The London Gazette and its sister publications, the Edinburgh Gazette and Belfast Gazette, contain a wide range of official notices including state, parliamentary and ecclesiastical notices, transport and planning notices as well as corporate insolvency and personal bankruptcy notices. In addition, a number of Supplements are published covering honours and awards, premium bonds, armed forces promotions, and company information.

National Archives (Great Britain): The National Archives is the UK government's official archive, containing over 1,000 years of history. The collection contains over 11 million historical government and public records and is one of the largest in the world, containing paper and parchment, electronic records and websites, photographs, posters, maps, drawings and paintings. The catalogue is available to search online.

60. FreeNational Archives of Australia

National Archives of Australia: The records in the collection of the National Archives of Australia trace the events and decisions that shaped the nation. Papers of Governors-General, Prime Ministers and Ministers are held as well as Cabinet documents, Royal Commission files and departmental records on defence, immigration, security and intelligence, naturalisation, and many other issues involving the federal government. The main focus is on records created since the formation of the Commonwealth of Australia in 1901 however there are also some nineteenth-century records relating to functions that were transferred by the colonies to the Commonwealth government, including shipping and post offices. Most records in the collection are files, but there are also significant holdings of photographs, posters, maps, architectural drawings, films, playscripts, musical scores and sound recordings. War service records as well as other family history material is also held.
