1. FreeAPSJOBS

Commonwealth of Australia: APSJOBS provides information on vacancies within the Australian Public Service. Also provides access to previous issues of the electronic APS Employment Gazette plus links to employment opportunities within the various state governments. Other electronic government gazettes are also linked to, including the Government Notices Gazette, the Special Notices Gazette and the Periodic Notices Gazette.

2. FreeAustralian Government Web Archive (AGWA)

National Library of Australia: The AGWA is a collection of Commonwealth Government websites with the earliest content collected in June 2011. Selected older government web content along with some state and local government material may be found at in the PANDORA Archive.

3. FreeBOPCRIS: British Official Publications

Research Support Libraries Programme (RSLP): The BOPCRIS Digitisation Unit at the University of Southampton provides access via this website to scanned collections of 18th, 19th and 20th Century British Official Publications, including Parliamentary Papers. It also provides access to a large number of non-parliamentary publications.

4. FreeCatalog of U.S. Government Publications

U.S. Government Printing Office: The Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (CGP) is the finding tool for electronic and print publications from the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the U.S. government. These publications make up the National Bibliography of U.S. Government Publications. The CGP contains descriptive records for historical and current publications and provides direct links to those that are available online. Updated daily it contains more than 500,000 records generated since July 1976 and also include records for publications dating back to the late 1800s. The CGP was originally the online counterpart of the Monthly Catalog of United States Government Publications 9discontinued in December 2004. For publications issued prior to 1976, the printed Monthly Catalog should be consulted.

Library of Congress: Congress.gov is the official source for United States federal legislative information. It is a comprehensive site containing a large range of US government publications, legislation, committee reports, House and Senate Directories and historical documents. Included are Bill Summary & Status; Bill Text; Public Laws; the Congressional Record; Committee Reports; Appropriations Bills, Presidential Nominations; Treaties; and links to Days in Session Calendar; US Government Historical documents; How Congress Makes Laws; Executive Branch; Judicial Branch; and State Resources.

6. FreeElection Leaflets

OpenAustralia Foundation: ElectionLeaflets.org.au contains contributed images of election leaflets used in state and federal election campaigns throughout. Currently (May 2013)contains leaflets relating to selected elections since 2010, including for the forthcoming 2013 Australian Federal election.

7. FreeGovPubs : The Australian Government Publications Guide

National Library of Australia: GovPubs is a guide to selected types of Australian government publications, such as Acts, Hansards, Budget Papers, Gazettes and Parliamentary Papers, located in Australia's National, State and Territory libraries or available on the Internet. A historical description of each publication is provided, and holdings information helps locate resources in each library or online.

8. LicencedHouse of Commons Parliamentary Papers

Proquest: Proquest HCPP Online provides access to the eighteenth and nineteenth century parliamentary papers of Britain. As the working documents of government, parliamentary papers encompass all areas of social, political, economic and foreign policy, and are vital to the historical record of Britain, its former Colonies and the wider world. HCPP online brings together the following resources: the Chadwyck-Healey microfiche edition of the nineteenth century House of Commons Sessional Papers; the accompanying 5 volume index by Peter Cockton 'Subject Catalogue of the House of Commons Parliamentary Papers, 1801-1900'; and The Eighteenth Century Parliamentary Papers Collection from BOPCRIS (featuring publications published officially by the House of Commons or the House of Lords from 1688 to 1834, including sessional papers and other material such as Journals and Private Acts). HCPP currently contains an index for all parliamentary papers from 1801-2004, and full text for 1688-1900. Available for document delivery to Australian libraries.

9. Onsite(CDROM)Index to the Parliamentary Papers for the Colony of Victoria 1852-1869

Australian Institute of Genealogical Studies: This resource covers a range of papers tabled before both the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council including: Reports from Government Departments; Select Committee Inquiries into a variety of matters; Civil Service Lists which include government employees; and Government Tenders, accepted and rejected. The purpose of this index is to gain access to the many instances in which the 'ORDINARY' person is referred to in government papers. In a very few cases, the information provided is little more than name, date, and district, however a careful reading of the source document may fill in pertinent details. In many cases, the information is more detailed and provides valuable leads to other material, however it must be remembered that the references are to government business, not church or private business matters.

HMSO: The official home of UK legislation from 1267 to the present, continuously updated as new legislation is enacted. It carries most legislation and accompanying explanatory documents. Primary legislation includes but is not limited to, the Acts of the following Parliaments and Assemblies; Public General Acts of the United Kingdom Parliament, Acts of the Parliament of Great Britain , Acts of the English Parliament , Acts of the Scottish Parliament, Measures of the National Assembly for Wales, Acts of the Irish Parliament, Acts of the Parliament of Northern Ireland, Acts of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
