Australian Industrial Relations CommissionAustralian Industrial Relations Commission: The focus of the site is to provide the latest AIRC decisions, awards, transcripts and related information. The site arranges the content for different readers, such as students and the media accessible from the tabs. The search tab leads to text searching of decisions, awards, transcripts and other AIRC/AIR documents. Decisions can also be searched by keyword. Recent additons include the rules of registered organisations and a searchable database of awards [Documents/Current Awards]. The Annual Reports for both the AIRC and the AIR are now available online.
Australian Trade Union ArchivesUniversity of Melbourne: Australian Trade Union Archives [ATUA] is an online gateway for researchers and scholars of labour history, designed to link together historical detail, archival resources, published material and current information about Australian industrial organisations, mainly including trade unions and also employer bodies.
Informit: IREL includes information on all aspects of the relationships between trade unions and employer groups, governments and industrial tribunals in Australia, representing the perspectives of both management and workforce. Issues such as industrial conflict, wages and conditions, equal employment opportunity, occupational health and safety, labour law and the labour market are covered. As well as monographs, conference proceedings and journal articles, IREL includes less accessible publications such as newsletters of trade union and employer groups, working papers, reports and parliamentary papers.
LabordocInternational Labor Organisation: Labordoc contains references to a wide range of print and electronic publications, including journal articles, from countries around the world, on all aspects of work and sustainable livelihoods, and the work-related aspects of economic and social development and human rights. Labordoc provides an ever increasing number of links to online publications available on the Internet. Documents are also available via the National Library's catalogue, as NLA is a depository library for ILO publications.

St. James Encyclopedia of Labor History Worldwide: Major Events in Labor History and Their ImpactGale Group: This encyclopedia provides in-depth analysis of more than 300 key events in labour history over the last 200 years, focusing on the relevance of these events to both the labour movement as a whole and to societal changes around the world. Each entry, written and signed by an expert in the field, is three to five pages in length and includes a description of the event, information about the key players involved and discusses the event in historical context. This online book is part of the Gale Virtual Reference Library.
