The Australian Periodical Publications 1840-1845 component of the Australian Cooperative Digitisation Project (ACDP) provides web access to digital copies of Australian serials first published between 1840 and 1845. Fiction published during the same period has also been digitised. State Library of New South Wales: The INFOKOORI database is an index to the Koori Mail (http://www.nor.com.au/media/kmail/), a national fortnightly newspaper published in Lismore, NSW, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The first issue was 23 May 1991.It reports on people, issues and events that affect indigenous peoplesfrom all over Australia - from an indigenous perspective. INFOKOORI is also an index to biographical information on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples form the magazines: Dawn (1952-1969), New Dawn 1970-1975) and Identity (1971-1982).

Sydney Dead Persons Society: The Ryerson Index is an index to death notices appearing in current Australian newspapers and includes some funeral notices, probate notices and obituaries. The index covers mostly New South Wales newspapers, although some newspapers from other States are included.
