The database currently contains over 20,000 entries of recent dealer and auction records, representing over 1,000 mapmakers. This data was compiled from the offerings of over 100 dealer and auction catalogs, representing the quickest way to investigate map prices and study trade in cartographic materials. AusGeoRefAmerican Geological Institute: AusGeoRef is a subset of the GeoRef database published by the American Geological Institute. It contains more than 170,000 bibliographic references to Australian geoscience literature and is regularly updated. References are drawn from journal literature, meeting proceedings and abstracts, books, reports and maps. References contain complete bibliographic information and URLs for documents published on the web.
Informit: This database includes Australian-generated published and unpublished documented materials over the full range of the geosciences, minerals and petroleum. From 1979 it also covers material published on continental Australia by non-Australian sources. Source documents include over 600 journal titles, monographs in series, books, conference papers and proceedings, technical reports, maps, theses, and unpublished and open-file reports predominantly from the State Geological Surveys and Department of Mines and Geoscience Australia.
