Education Research ThesesACER Cunningham Library: A database of higher degrees theses accepted at Australian universities and colleges in the area of education. It contains over 10,200 records for theses dated from 1919. Records for years from 1978 contain abstracts. A subset of the Australian Education Index.
Guo li zhong yang tu shu guan (China): Also known as Zhonghua min guo qi kan lun wen suo yin guang die xi tong. An index to 2 500 periodicals published in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. Also indexes Taiwan academic dissertations.
Expert Information: This index with abstracts is a comprehensive published listing of British theses accepted annually for higher degrees by some of the most prestigious educational institutions in the world, the universities of Great Britain and Ireland. Full text abstracts are included in addition to the bibliographic details. Each title is classified into one of over 300 subdivisions of eleven main subject areas. Author and subject indexes are also provided.
Modern Language Association: The MLA International Bibliography is a fundamental research tool for those studying modern language and literature. The Bibliography covers citations from over 3,000 journals and series, monographs, working papers and conference proceedings. Available here through the Literature Resource Center.
ProQuest: Formerly called Digital Dissertations, this resource contains information about doctoral dissertations and master's theses. It includes bibliographic citations for materials ranging from the first American dissertation accepted in 1861, to those accepted as recently as last semester. Citations for dissertations published from 1980 forward also include abstracts. A 24 page preview of the full text is available from 1997 onwards. Also available on microfilm under title Dissertation Abstracts and Dissertation Abstracts International. Register of Postgraduate Music DissertationsMusicological Society of Australia (MSA): This register is a database containing the bibliograhic information for postgraduate music and music-related theses completed since 1917 or currently in progress at universities in Australia and New Zealand. The register has been compiled from library catalogues and in conjunction with some authors, particularly those whose projects are in progress. The database can be browsed in its totality, within 39 subject categories, or in a combination of categories. Results can be sorted by Author, University, Degree or completion year. A keyword search is also available.
Informit: The NUS Theses Collection (THESES) is a bibliographic database that indexes theses submitted to the University of Singapore (NUS) and its predecessor institutions, and which are deposited with the Library. Source documents: Higher-degree theses and academic exercises submitted to the National University of Singapore and its predecessor institutions, namely, Raffles College, the University of Malaya, the University of Malaya (Singapore Division), the Nanyang University, and the University of Singapore. The earliest item in the collection dates back to 1947 and titles in Chinese are excluded.
