Description
Proquest HCPP Online provides access to the eighteenth and nineteenth century parliamentary papers of Britain. As the working documents of government, parliamentary papers encompass all areas of social, political, economic and foreign policy, and are vital to the historical record of Britain, its former Colonies and the wider world. HCPP online brings together the following resources: the Chadwyck-Healey microfiche edition of the nineteenth century House of Commons Sessional Papers; the accompanying 5 volume index by Peter Cockton 'Subject Catalogue of the House of Commons Parliamentary Papers, 1801-1900'; and The Eighteenth Century Parliamentary Papers Collection from BOPCRIS (featuring publications published officially by the House of Commons or the House of Lords from 1688 to 1834, including sessional papers and other material such as Journals and Private Acts). HCPP currently contains an index for all parliamentary papers from 1801-2004, and full text for 1688-1900. Available for document delivery to Australian libraries.
