Subjects covered include radiochemistry; nuclear applications in medicine, earth sciences, agriculture, biology and industry; radiation protection; radioactive waste management; nuclear law; economic, sociological and environmental aspects of nuclear and non-nuclear energy. Source documents include journal articles, conference proceedings, books, technical reports, patents, legislation, standards and theses. Materials are authored or published in Australia. ANSTI contains records from 1970 onwards, and is a sub-set of the International Nuclear Information System (INIS) database operated by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
