Informit Literature and Culture Collection

RMIT Publishing
The literary magazine is an important part of Australia's literary and cultural heritage. Small publications have proved an important means for both emerging and established writers to develop their craft and to engage with central ideas and debates about Australian literary, social and cultural life. This collection is a rich source of fiction, poetry, cultural politics and ideas and contains every issue of Australia's best known literary and cultural magazines from 1959-2005. It includes key journals such as Meanjin, Quadrant, Island, Wet Ink, Griffith Review and Southerly.
