Queen Victoria's Journals

Digital version of the journals of Queen Victoria from 1832 (her first journal entry) to 1901. Provides images of every page of the surviving volumes of the journals, along with separate photographs of the many illustrations and inserts within the pages. Four different versions of the journals are provided: the original which she wrote herself; a manuscript, abridged transcript written by the Queen's youngest daughter, Princess Beatrice; a typed transcript prepared for Lord Esher; and some draft volumes written by the Queen. (None of these versions covers the entire period 1832-1901.)
