The Eastern Miscellany, one of China's most prominent weekly magazines, was published by the Commercial Press in 1904. It covered many major historical periods including the end of Qing Dynasty, the Revolution of 1911, the May 4th Movement, Anti-Japanese War, the War of Liberation.
