Australian Public Affairs - Full Text is an online collection of scanned images of articles from more than 500 Australian journals indexed in APAIS, the Australian Public Affairs Information Service produced by the National Library of Australia. Key topics include environment, globalisation, history, industrial relations, immigration, politics, social policy, public health and national identity. Key journals include Australian Aboriginal Studies, Australian Health Review, Australian Historical Studies; Communication, Journal of Industrial Relations, Journal of Australian Political Economy and Oceania. Commenced as the Australian Public Affairs Information Service or APAIS in 1945; online availability dates from 1978; full text (as APAFT) dates from 1995. Early issues of APAIS from 1952-1977 are held in the Main Reading Room of the National Library at RF 016.3 AUS.
