World Intellectual Property Organsization: The PATENTSCOPE database provides access to international Patent Cooperation Treaty applications in full text format on the day of publication. The information may be searched by entering keywords, names of applicants, international patent classification and many other search criteria in multiple languages. Approximately 30 million patent documents from paticipating countries are included, as well as patent applications.

582. OnsitePeriodicals Index - PERIND

Informit: An index to periodical literature relating to Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and ASEAN (as an entity), produced by the National University of Singapore. The database covers more than 250 core journals, ranging from the humanities and social sciences to architecture, building, law and medicine. The articles are mainly in English, with a small number in Malay. Most citations date from 1980, though medicine is covered from 1975 and law from 1932. Beginning from mid-1997, the database also covers book chapters and conference papers (both published and unpublished).

Government of South Australia: PlaceNames Online provides a simple search tool for obtaining useful information from the State Gazetteer. The purpose of the State Gazetteer is to provide an accurate and definitive listing of place names for mapping, emergency services and general enquiry purposes. Associated with each name is up to 38 fields of information relating to feature type, classification, location, derivation and cross-reference to current, previous and alternative names.

Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet: This collection of transcripts from Australian Prime Ministers contains approximately 20,000 individual speeches, media releases and other transcript items dating from the early 1940's through to the end of the Gillard Government in 2013. Gale: This collection contains a large portion of the archives of the British run municipal police force based in Shangai's former International Settlement. The most extensive coverage is provided by the Special Branch dossier files, which date from 1929-1945. Other documents include supporting reports, handbills, translations of Chinese press coverage and clippings from the English Language press. Available for document delivery to Australian libraries.

Humanities Research Institute, University of Sheffield: The Proceedings of the Old Bailey is a fully searchable database detailing the lives of non-elite people which contains accounts of over 197,700 criminal trials held at London's central criminal court. Old Bailey Proceedings for the period 1714 - 1834 are also available in the microfilm collection at call number mfm 1747 in the Newspapers and Microforms Reading Room.
