Early issues of APAIS from 1952-1977 are held in the Main Reading Room of the National Library at RF 016.3 AUS.

Source documents include a wide range of periodicals, newspapers, scholarly journals, conference papers and books. APAIS-Health comprehensively indexes approximately 250 journals. Overseas sources are also scanned for material on Australian subject matter. APAIS-Health also indexes very selectively from many other Australian journals and conference proceedings, as well as from overseas journals carrying articles with an Australian content.
