Commonwealth of Australia: APSJOBS provides information on vacancies within the Australian Public Service. Macbeth Genealogical Services: This index contains over 80,000 references to birth notices and marriages announcements and anniversaries extracted from the Argus. As well as the classified advertisements, articles have been checked. Many of the marriage entries refer to anniversaries of marriages as well as marriage announcements. There are several references to marriages and births interstate and overseas. The publication date of the newspaper in which notice appears is given. The Argus newspaper (1848-1957) is available on microfilm at mfm NX 124 in the Newspapers and Microforms Reading Room.
Society of Australian Genealogists: Lists 5523 names of persons who arrived in New South Wales between 1788 and 1825 on ships, whalers and trading vessels, and 2819 persons who departed, these include convicts being moved from one colony to another. Also includes crew members, military and passengers on convict transports although details of the convict transportees have not been included.
