Macquarie Dictionary Publishers: The Macquarie Dictionary was first published in print in 1981 and has been online since 2003. It is now nationally and internationally regarded as the standard reference on Australian English. The Macquarie Dictionary Online is constantly updated with new words as they enter our language. The online service gives you access to the Macquarie Dictionary Fifth Edition and the latest edition of the Macquarie Thesaurus plus annual updates.

Society of Australian Genealogists: Listing of over 70,000 transcriptions from Sydney's former "Northern Suburbs" cemetery. Users can search by last name (including phonetic and wild cards), first name, year of death and inscription. Each record shows the full details transcribed, as well as denomination, section, row and plot number. Nearby graves are also listed.

Available in the Japanese language only, this resource indexes thousands of journals, faculty papers and annual reports of academic institutions published in Japan. Updated weekly. Only available through a PC in the Asian Collections Reading Room.

: Contains all 46 regional editions of one of the most influential Japanese newspapers. Published in DVD format since 2006. Newspaper image not shown; text has been re-typed. Some articles not published due to copyright issues. AVAILABLE ONLY THROUGH THE JAPANESE PUBLIC PC IN THE ASIAN COLLECTIONS READING ROOM.

Ohio University Library and Informit: Provides an extensive coverage of articles on Malaysia, Singapore and other South-east Asian countries. Subject coverage includes education, business, law, science and technology, politics and information science.
