381. FreeUNESCO Atlas of the World's Languages in Danger

UNESCO: The Atlas lists about 2,500 languages considered to be endangered. For each language, the Atlas provides its name, degree of endangerment, the country or countries where it is spoken, numbers of speakers, relevant policies and projects, sources, ISO codes and geographic coordinates.

United Nations: Catalogue of the United Nations docuemnts and publications indexed by the UN Dag Hammarskjold Library and the Library of the UN Office at Geneva. Coverage is from 1979 onwards, however older documents are being added to the catalogue on a regular basis as a a result of retrospective conversion.

Via FDSYS the U.S. GPO provides perpetual free public access to print and digital publications of the U.S. Government by managing digital publications from Congress and Federal agencies, gathering publications from Federal Government Web sites, and scanning previously printed publications. The information provided on this site is the official, published version and can be used without restriction, unless specifically noted.

State Government of Victoria: This database holds more than 190,000 road and place names, including landscape features such as mountains and rivers, bounded localities such as suburbs, towns, cities and regions, and physical infrastructure such as roads, reserves and schools.

388. FreeVictoria Government Gazette 1836-1997

State Library of Victoria: This online archive of historic government gazettes provides access to over 160 years of official information published in and about Victoria. It contains images of every relevant page in the Victoria Government Gazette produced since 1836, as well as a searchable index based on the published indexes in each publication. Not all names in the Gazette are indexed. First published in the earliest days of the colony, the Victoria Government Gazette (1836 to 1997) documents the official notifications of government decisions and legal actions to other governments, government agencies and the general public.

389. FreeVictorian Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages

Victorian Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages: Provides access to the Historical Index containing information on Victorian births (1853-1912), marriages (1853-1942), deaths (1853-1985) and church baptisms, marriages and burials (1836-1853). Also provides access to the Marine Index, containing over 6,200 entries relating to births, marriages and deaths that happened between 1853 and 1920 onboard international and coastal ships bound for port in Victoria. A fee to search the indexes applies.

390. FreeVOCEDplus (Vocational Education and Training)

National Centre for Vocational Education Research: The VOCEDplus database contains material on vocational education and training (VET), higher education, adult and community education, informal learning, and VET in Schools. It is international in scope and contains over 44,000 English language records, many with links to full text documents. Included are entries for research reports; periodical/journal articles; electronic documents; papers (published and unpublished); evaluation studies; policy documents; survey results; proceedings (workshops/seminars/conferences); theses; bibliographies; books; government publications; and published statistics.
