EdNA: Education Network AustraliaEdNA is a Website pointing to thousands of resources identified and contributed by Australian educators. It networks the bodies responsible for Australian education. Discussions and noticeboards are offered on the site, making it a meta-network of Australian education practitioners. Its services create communities of educators online - further networks. EdNA covers the schools, vocational education and training, adult community education and higher education sectors. Through the EdNA forums, the Australian education systems and sectors collaborate on a range of online education, communications and information technology issues.
EdResearch OnlineACER Cunningham Library: EdResearch Online is an easily searchable database containing 13,467 research articles and documents. It is an online subset of the Australian Education Index. Documents include journal articles, research reports, government reports, theses, conference proceedings and papers.

eMelbourne: the city past and present: An online version of the printed Encyclopedia of Melbourne. Contains the full text of the 2005 print edition plus additional text and digital entries. Entries range from factual summaries about places, institutions and events, through to extended survey articles on key topics such as Architecture, Aboriginal Melbourne, Economy, Foundation and Early Settlement, Law and Order, Literature, Science, Sport, Suburbia, Theatre and Transport.
Encyclopedia of Australian science: The Encyclopedia of Australian Science is a register of the people and the many industries, corporations, research institutions, scientific societies and other organisations that have contributed to Australia's scientific, technological and medical heritage, with references to their archival materials and a bibliography of their historical published literature. Formed through a union of the services Bright Sparcs and Australian Science at Work.

Searching is free but viewing the records is via pay per view or subscription. To view the records of the 1841 - 1901 censuses for free go to Ancestry Library Edition (available to onsite users only).
English Short Title Catalogue 1473-1800Thomson Gale in association with the British Library: The aims of the ESTC are to provide a comprehensive bibliography of the printed output of the hand-press era, to list the whereabouts of surviving copies, and to note the existence of facsimiles. The holdings of over 2,000 libraries around the world are represented. It includes 1. All relevant items printed in the British Isles in any language; 2. All relevant items printed in Colonial America, the United States (1776-1800) and Canada; in any language; 3. EPPI : Enhanced British Parliamentary Papers on Ireland, 1801-1922University of Southampton: Provides digital access to a selection of British Parliamentary Papers relating to Ireland for the period 1801-1922, and is one of the principal resources for the study of modern Irish history. Papers came from Southampton University's unique Ford Collection of Official Publications. It includes scans of original census data for the years 1821, 1831, 1842, 1851, 1861 and a range of primary documents on topics relating to law, agriculture, poor relief, religion and trade. The bibliographic records and searchable PDFs are now available for a large majority of the collection through the University of Southampton Library webcat.
ERICEducation Resources Information Center (US): The ERIC database contains over a million bibliographic citations to a broad collection of education-related resources, from government reports to journal articles. Other materials include conference proceedings, project and program descriptions, curriculum guides, bibliographies, and more.
