Mariners and Ships in Australian WatersWarner, Mary-Anne, with material from the State Records Authority of New South Wales: This index lists names of passengers (cabin, saloon & steerage), crew, captains, stowaways, births and deaths at sea, transcribed from the State Records Authority of New South Wales Reels of the Shipping Masters' Office, Inwards Passenger Lists. Coverage is complete for the period 1870-1878 and there is partial coverage for the periods 1854-1869, 1879-1892. Check website for details of completed indexing. Microfilm of these passenger lists is available in the Newspapers and Microforms Reading Room on Open Access, mfm N 229, Microfilm Drawer Nos. 4, 5 & 6.

Merck Manual of Medical Information - Home EditionA publication from Merck geared for the layperson but still containing the same vital information about diseases, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. Users can perform a simple or advanced search, but clicking on results often leads to a long page where readers may need to use their browser's find functions to locate what they are looking for. The book's table of contents is organized and detailed enough to be quite useful with eighteen sections devoted to various disorders (Mental Health Disorders, Skin Disorders, Immune Disorders, Cancer, etc.); sections on men's, women's, and children's health issues; information on Drugs, Accidents and Injuries, and Fundamentals (genetics, anatomy, etc.), and more.
