New South Wales Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages: Provides a free online historical index search to the Index to Births (1788-1912), Deaths (1788-1982), and Marriages (1788-1962) in New South Wales. Addtional information for early entries and a birth index to 1918 are available in electronic format on reading room computers. Some pre 1856 parish records indexed in this database are availble in the Newspapers and Microforms Reading Room on microfilm.

Content covers the years 1831-2009, although not comprehensively. Newspapers include Straits Times, Straits Eurasian Advocate, Malayan Saturday Post and the Straits Chinese Herald.
New Zealand Births Deaths and Marriages OnlineDepartment of Internal Affairs, New Zealand: Provides online access to New Zealand Births Deaths and Marriages. Historical records available include: births that occurred at least 100 years ago, stillbirths that occurred at least 50 years ago, marriages and eventually civil unions that occurred at least 80 years ago, deaths that occurred at least 50 years ago or where the deceased's date of birth was at least 80 years ago. Maori information is also included.
