National Library of Australia: Trove is a free discovery service focused on Australia, Australians, and items found in Australia's collecting institutions. It incorporates the existing discovery services of the National Library of Australia, plus digitised material freely available online. Via a single point of access researchers will find a range of material relating to their search, including books, manuscipts, pictures, music, newspapers and journal articles.
National Library of Australia: A freely available collection of digitised out of copyright Australian newspapers covering the years 1803 to 1954. Titles include the first newspaper to be published in Australia, the Sydney Gazette. Other titles include The Argus (Victoria), The Sydney Morning Herald (New South Wales), The Courier Mail (Queensland), The West Australian (Western Australia), The Mercury (Tasmania), The Advertiser (South Australia), The Canberra Times (Australian Capital Territory).
