1. FreeVICNAMES : The Register of Geographic Names

State Government of Victoria: This database holds more than 190,000 road and place names, including landscape features such as mountains and rivers, bounded localities such as suburbs, towns, cities and regions, and physical infrastructure such as roads, reserves and schools.

2. FreeVictoria Government Gazette 1836-1997

State Library of Victoria: This online archive of historic government gazettes provides access to over 160 years of official information published in and about Victoria. It contains images of every relevant page in the Victoria Government Gazette produced since 1836, as well as searchable indexes for each publication. First published in the earliest days of the colony, the Victoria Government Gazette (1836 to 1997) documents the official notifications of government decisions and legal actions to other governments, government agencies and the general public.

3. FreeVOCED (Vocational Education and Training)

National Centre for Vocational Education Research: The VOCED database covers the topics of vocational education and training research, policy, practice, training systems and published statistics. It contains nearly 30,000 abstracts from around the world, with a special focus on Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Included are entries for research reports; periodical/journal articles; electronic documents; papers (published and unpublished); evaluation studies; policy documents; survey results; proceedings (workshops/seminars/conferences); theses; bibliographies; books; government publications; and published statistics.
