21. FreeAustralian Key Journals: Periodicals Contents Index

Australian National University and Proquest: The Australian Key Journals Index provides access to the tables of contents of 82 Australian journals in the social sciences and humanities, from the date of their first publication to 1991. Journals indexed in the database include Adelaide Law Review, Architecture Australia, Art and Australia, Australian Book Review, Australian Economic Review, Australian Literary Studies, Australian Women's Weekly, Business Review Weekly, Federal Law Review, Journal of Industrial Relations, Overland and Westerly. The project was co-ordinated and developed by the ANU Library with University of Adelaide Library and the National Library of Australia and ProQuest Information & Learning. This version of the database is made available free of charge to students and scholars within Australia.

22. OnsiteAustralian Nuclear Science & Technology Information - ANSTI

Informit: Contains bibliographic references, most with abstracts, to scientific and technical literature on the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology. Subjects covered include radiochemistry; nuclear applications in medicine, earth sciences, agriculture, biology and industry; radiation protection; radioactive waste management; nuclear law; economic, sociological and environmental aspects of nuclear and non-nuclear energy.

23. OnsiteAustralian Public Affairs Information Service Health - APAIS-Health

Informit: A bibliographic database that indexes articles relating to health and medicine in Australia and in particular the legal, social, economic and ethical aspects of health. Clinical articles are not indexed for APAIS-Health. APAIS-Health is a subset of the APAIS database. Source documents include a wide range of periodicals, newspapers, scholarly journals, conference papers and books. APAIS-Health comprehensively indexes approximately 250 journals. Overseas sources are also scanned for material on Australian subject matter. APAIS-Health also indexes very selectively from many other Australian journals and conference proceedings, as well as from overseas journals carrying articles with an Australian content.

24. OnsiteAustralian Sport Database - AUSPORT

Informit: A bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles from published and unpublished material on all aspects of Australian sport from 1988 onwards. Source documents include journals, monographs, conference papers, government reports, theses, videotapes and audiocassettes. Prior to 1989 Australian sport information was included in the LEISURE (now ATI) database which is also available on AUSTROM. Subject coverage includes all aspects of Australian sport including administration, children, coaching, disabled, economics, facilities, history, medicine, nutrition, physiology, psychology, women and Olympic Games (Sydney 2000).

25. OnsiteAustralian Taxation Abstracts Database - TAXABS

Informit: A bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts journals primarily in the area of taxation law but also including other areas of interest such as child support, accounting, business, finance and superannuation. Source documents are journal articles from over 20 journals. Journals such as 'The Bulletin' and 'BRW' are indexed selectively for taxation and related information while others are indexed comprehensively with relevant cases and legislative references included. Note that in legislative references to the Income Tax Assessment Act 1936 (ITAA) the title of the Act is not included. Subject coverage focuses on tax technical information and includes articles on accounting*, auditing*, business, capital gains tax, finance, fringe benefits tax, goods and services tax, international tax (with Australian content), law, superannuation, taxation rulings, and tax administration.

26. OnsiteAustralian Tourism Index - ATI

Informit: Contains bibliographic information on Australian documentation concerning sport, recreation and tourism from 1982 to 1988, tourism only from 1989, and on tourism and hospitality from 1996. Coverage of sport is continued by the AUSPORT database. Source documents include books, conference proceedings, audiovisual material, newspapers, journals, reports, commercial publications, unpublished material and government documents. Since 1993 all Pacific Asia Travel Association publications relevant to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific have been included. Subject coverage includes leisure, recreation, sport, tourism and travel.

27. OnsiteAustralia's Natural Resources Database - STREAMLINE

Informit: Provides information on all aspects of natural resource management, including land resources, vegetation resources and water resources. Subjects covered include: soil degradation, sustainable primary production systems, conservation, land use, vegetation rehabilitation, ecological processes, river health, management of nutrients and eutrophication, wetlands, aquatic ecosystems, urban water utilities, wastewater management and irrigation systems. Journal articles, published and unpublished reports, research in progress, books, book chapters and conference papers are all included. Material is taken from both Australian and international sources, but all relates to the Australian situation.
