ProQuest: Traces the development and growth of the periodical press in Britain from its origins in the seventeenth century through to the Victorian 'age of periodicals' and beyond. On completion this unique digital archive will consist of almost 500 periodical runs published from the 1680s to the 1930s, comprising six million keyword-searchable pages and forming an unrivalled record of more than two centuries of British history and culture. British Periodicals Collection I consists of more than 160 journals that comprise the UMI microfilm collection Early British Periodicals, the equivalent of 5,238 printed volumes containing approximately 3.1 million pages. Topics covered include literature, philosophy, history, science, the fine arts and the social sciences. British Periodicals Collection II consists of more than 300 journals from the UMI microfilm collections English Literary Periodicals and British Periodicals in the Creative Arts together with additional titles, amounting to almost 3 million pages. Hakubunkan: A Japanese literary and historical journal published from 1895-1912 by Hakubunkan. Contains articles on Japanese performing arts, cultural history and literature. The site provides full text and images of all issues, and also searchable access (although not full text) to the journals 'Taiyo' and 'Daiichi koto gakko koyukai zasshi'.
EBSCO Publishing: Business Source Premier is a business research database, providing full text for more than 2,300 journals, covering all business disciplines. It offers full text dating back to 1886, and searchable cited references dating to 1998. Additional full text, non-journal content includes market research reports, industry reports, country reports, company profiles and SWOT analyses. John Furphy Pty Ltd: Contains detailed descriptions, price ranges, and colour photographs of thousands of items from Australia and New Zealand. The online database includes the last five years of items from the ceased printed publications Carter's price guide to antiques in Australasia and Carter's everything vintage (which covered post 1950s items, including vintage, collectables retro and 20th century design). Items are added at least annually to keep the database current.
China National Knowledge Infrastructure: Century Journals Project (CJP) Database is a full-text archival set of the China Academic Journals (CAJ). It offers access to more than 825 full-text Chinese journals that cover the years from 1917 to 1993. This large backfile augments the CAJ database, which covers titles from 1994 onwards.
