Dacheng shu ju you xian gong si: Dacheng Old Journal Full-text Database includes a collection of 7,000 periodicals, 130,000 issues and 1.3 million articles, which were published from 1840 to 1949 in mainland China. Many of the periodicals in Dacheng database are rare and unique during late Qing Dynasty. Subjects covered include philosophy, economic, politics, military, industry, agriculture, transportation, literature ,history, geography , astronomy and astrology.
Commercial Press: The Eastern Miscellany, one of China's most prominent weekly magazines, was published by the Commercial Press in 1904. It covered many major historical periods including the end of Qing Dynasty, the Revolution of 1911, the May 4th Movement, Anti-Japanese War, the War of Liberation.
