It has been compiled from material held in the Mitchell Library, New South Wales, and in the Archives Office of Tasmania. Records include musters, immigration, church records to 1950, hotel licences, court, hospital, prison, land etc. Some records are from 1792 Norfolk Island and 1823-1848 New South Wales.
