RMIT Publishing: A bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts published and unpublished material on industrial relations and related topics. Source documents are Australian monographs, academic and current affairs journals; and less accessible publications, such as newsletters of trade union and employer groups, working papers, reports, annual reports, and conference proceedings. IREL deals with all aspects of the relationships between trade unions and employer groups, governments and industrial tribunals in Australia, representing the perspectives of both management and workforce. Subject coverage includes industrial conflict, wages and conditions, labour market economics, equal employment opportunity, labour law, occupational health and safety, workplace reform, enterprise bargaining, and trade union restructuring.

Key journals include Australian Aboriginal Studies, Australian Health Review, Australian Historical Studies; Communication, Journal of Industrial Relations, Journal of Australian Political Economy and Oceania. Commenced as the Australian Public Affairs Information Service or APAIS in 1945; online availability dates from 1978; full text (as APAFT) dates from 1995. Early issues of APAIS from 1952-1977 are held in the Main Reading Room of the National Library at RF 016.3 AUS.

Approximately 250 journals were comprehensively indexed, as well as selective indexing from many other Australian journals and conference proceedings, and some overseas journals carrying articles with an Australian content. RMIT Publishing: A bibliographic database that indexes articles relating to health and medicine in Australia and in particular the legal, social, economic and ethical aspects of health. Clinical articles are not indexed for APAIS-Health. APAIS-Health is a subset of the APAIS database. Source documents include a wide range of periodicals, newspapers, scholarly journals, conference papers and books. APAIS-Health comprehensively indexes approximately 250 journals. Overseas sources are also scanned for material on Australian subject matter. APAIS-Health also indexes very selectively from many other Australian journals and conference proceedings, as well as from overseas journals carrying articles with an Australian content.

RMIT Publishing: A bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles from published and unpublished material on all aspects of Australian sport from 1988 onwards. Source documents include journals, monographs, conference papers, government reports, theses, videotapes and audiocassettes. Prior to 1989 Australian sport information was included in the LEISURE (now ATI) database which is also available on AUSTROM. Subject coverage includes all aspects of Australian sport including administration, children, coaching, disabled, economics, facilities, history, medicine, nutrition, physiology, psychology, women and Olympic Games (Sydney 2000).
