Findmypast: Find My Past is a family history and genealogy website. The National Library of Australia subscribes to the collections covering the UK, Australia and New Zealand, and Ireland (not the United States and Canada collections). Users may select the collection they wish to search from the Search box on the Find my Past homepage. (If the United States and Canada collection is selected, users are only able to access the small amount of free information available, not the complete collection.) Popular records contained in the collections include birth, marriage and death records; census records; British newspapers; parish baptisms, marriages and burials; military records, and passenger lists of ships leaving the UK.
