Australian Jewish Genealogical Society: The database covers the period 1867 to 1905, with 106 pre 1867 burials relocated from Devonshire Street Cemetery to Rookwood in 1901; 1100 graves with headstones; 600 burials without headstones that have been identified and their position located; the earliest burial is 1 June 1837. Some burials later than 1905 are also included. Database contains: compilation of images; Rookwood Cemetery maps; transcriptions of the English; transcriptions of the Hebrew; references to the death certificate registration number; death notices from newspapers, where available; details from the burial registers, where available; relocation details, where available.
