J.S. Shaw North Publishing: This online database records details of 27, 500 births in the Australian colonies, representing approximately 15,000 pioneer families. The breakdown of the records are: 23,648 in New South Wales, 2,600 in Tasmania, 885 on Norfolk Island, 330 Aborigines or part-Aborigines, 1 on Kangaroo Island (S. Aust.), 1 on Melville Island (N.T.) and 9 on King Island (Tas.). This CD-ROM is the online version of the 2nd ed. of the print "Births in Australia 1788-1828" compiled by James Hugh Donohoe. Print editions can requested online from the catalogue for use in the Main Reading Room.

Gould Genealogy: This is a collection of death records found in various South Australian sources that do not seem to have been registered with the Principal Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages in Adelaide.
