Note in lower right margin: Note: The soundings in outline figures are from other authorities. Those on the line of the track, shew the depth of water at the same time of passing by, when the state of the tide is expressed by the marks H.W. and L.W. (high and low water) and the flood and ebb by characters 1/4, 1/2 & 3/4 affixed to F. (flood) and E. (ebb).
