We started producing comprehensive monthly acquisitions lists in October 2008, instead of selective highlights. Please be aware that older lists contains only selective highlights.

Catalogue details in the link
Clicking the link in the lists will take you to the screen of the catalogue details for each title. One of the requesting options: ‘Get this ’ button is for readers wishing to use the title in the Library. The other option, 'Copies Direct’ button is for those wishing to request copy of the title. Copyright law needs to be consulted and charge applies).
Use of the Japanese Collection in the library
Titles from Japanese Collection are usually served through Asian Collections Reading Room. For after hours on Mondays to Thursdays and on weekends, the requested titles can be sent to Main Reading Room with earlier arrangement.
Use of the Japanese Collection by remote users
Remote users may request titles on interlibrary loan. Requests to borrow titles from the collection should be arranged through the interlibrary loan service in your library. The collection at the National Library of Australia are not for loan to individual readers.
Enquiries and feedback
If the title you would like to read is not in the National Library catalogue, we welcome your recommendation for purchase. Please contact us with the publication details and we will inform you of the outcome.
