Series 6: Ballets Russes, 1932-1946

Algeranoff danced with Ballets Russes in 1933-1934 and 1937-1942, touring throughout Australia, the United States, Canada and South America.
The papers include memoranda of agreement, 1936-1942; travel itineraries, 1937-1938; business correspondence with Colonel W. de Basil, 1933-1943; programs, 1932-1946; and a scrapbook containing cuttings and photos of performances by Algeranoff, primarily relating to the tour of South America, 1941-1943.

Folder 1 Ballets Russes papers, 1933-1943
Includes memorandum of agreement, service agreement, contract, itineraries, suggestions for revivals, tickets, receipts, a membership card for the American Guild of Musical Artists, correspondence with Wassily de Basil, and a press release for the Autumn 1937 season of at the Royal Opera House, London.
Folder 2 Programs, 1932-1933
Includes programs for performances at Alhambra Theatre, London, Streatham Theatre, and London, St. James Theatre, New York. This folder also contains commemorative menus and programs for the CIE GLE Transatlantique French Line.
Folder 3 Programs, 1934-1935
Includes programs for performances at Royal Opera House, London, Toledo Museum of Art, Auditorium, Atlanta, and St Paul Auditorium.
Folder 4 Programs, 1937
Includes programs for performances at Ogden Hall, Royal Opera House, London, War Memorial Opera House, San Francisco, and Coronado Theatre, Rockford.
Folder 5 Programs, 1938
Includes programs for performances at Royal Opera House, London, War Memorial Opera House, San Francisco, and Philadelphia Academy of Music.
Piece 6 Programs, 1939-1946 and undated
