- Liturgy: comprehensive collection of liturgies of the Christian Churches, ancient and modern and scholarly works on liturgical studies.
- Biblical studies: includes Bibles in various languages, commentaries, concordances, and works on Biblical archaeology.
- Church history: medieval and modern Church history with emphasis on the English Church.
- Biography: mainly English and published in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
Other subjects covered include Canon law, cathedrals, including the 30 volumes in Bell's Cathedral Series, philosophy, psychology and classics.
Imprints dating from before 1800 are housed with the Rare Books material.
