Introduction

This guide is provided to help researchers prepare their visits to the National Library, and to make these resources more widely known.

The guide is arranged by SUBJECT within a State or Country.

  • The items are arranged in Microfiche Drawers and Microfilm Cabinets. Arrangement within each drawer is by Call no.
  • Microfiche items are prefixed 'mc'. The entry will look like: Microfiche Drawer no. 1; Call no.: mc N 752. Meaning the item will be found in Drawer '1' at index marker 'mc N 752'.
  • Microfilm items are prefixed 'mfm'. The entry will look like: Microfilm Cabinet Drawer no. 19; Call no. mfm N 229. Meaning the item will be found in Drawer '19' at index marker 'mfm N 229'
