About Alice

Alice brings more than thirty-eight years experience in senior banking and multicultural community relations.  She held a number of senior positions in banking, including Head of Asian Leadership at the Westpac Group, Head of International Customer Services at the Bank of Melbourne, and Head of Asia and Migrant Markets at Westpac.

She is a Council Member of International House at the University of Melbourne where she is Chair of their Advancement Advisory Committee, and Patron of the Chinese Cancer Society of Victoria.  She was also a Board Member of Asialink, a Director of the Asia Society AustralAsia Centre, and a member of the Prime Minister’s Reference Group for the National Asian Languages and Studies in Schools Program. She is on the Asia Century Advisory Committee of the Institute of Public Administration Australia and the Course Advisory Committee of the Swinburne University of Technology.

Most recently, Alice has advised the Premier of Victoria on China-related matters, including accompanying him on his first official visit to China.  She is also the Strategic Advisor to the University of Sydney on their Cultural and Linguistic Diversity Leadership Strategy.

Alice is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
