Copying in the reading rooms
You use your library card to photocopyand print. Library photocopiers do not accept coins.
- Get a library card.
- Add credit to your card at the card cashier machine. Change machines are available.
- Make your photocopy or print.
You can also:
- Print from your wireless enabled laptop in the Main and Petherick Reading Rooms.
- Save electronic copies of microfilm and online resources to your USB flash drive.
- Photograph material with your digital camera. Flash photography is not permitted, because it may damage collection material.
- Scan material in the Main, Petherick, Newspapers and Microforms and Asian Reading Rooms.
- Make a colour photocopy in the Main Reading Room.

There is no cost for self service digital copying and scanning.
Note that there is no self service photocopier in the Pictures and Manuscripts Reading Room.
