Brief
Digitisation Project Brief - Wills diary
Purpose
To provide access to the digitised manuscript of the Wills
Diary and transcript through the Library's digital collections, and online
exhibitions and/or publications site.
Objectives
- Digitise the Wills Diary manuscript;
- Provide an online transcript of the manuscript;
- Interpret to give context to the Wills Diary material;
- Design and develop a web site to communicate the Wills Diary
manuscript, transcript and story for national and international online
visitors/users;
- Link digitised Wills Diary material to catalogue records for
delivery through the Library's digital collection; and
- Set up reciprocal links between the State Library of Victoria's
Burke & Wills Terra Incognita site.
Description of the material to be digitised
Mixture of NLA manuscript, transcript, pictorial, maps and State
Library of Victoria pictorial material.
