The 1814 Flinders Map Bicentenary

To mark the bicentenary of the publication of Matthew Flinders’ General Chart of Terra Australis or Australia, mariners, academics and curators explore the life of Flinders, his friends and enemies and the significance of the map.

Speakers includeMiriam Estensen, Gillian Dooley (on behalf of Anthony Brown), Professor Jean Fornasiero,  Emeritus Professor Margaret Sankey, Djon Mundine OAM, Professor Len Collard, Dr David Palmer, Lindsay Perry and Dr Jan Tent.
