Two French nuns arrive in New England to build a children’s hospital. They enlist the help of several colourful characters in achieving their dream including a struggling artist, a popular composer, and a renowned racketeer. This warm sentimental comedy drama was a perennial Christmas favorite all through the 50s and 60s. It was nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Best Writing, Motion Picture Story.
