Director: Fred C. Newmeyer Cast: Harold Lloyd, Mildred Davis, Noah Young
Ending the year with a smile, we pay tribute to Harold Lloyd, the comedian often forgotten in the shadow of Chaplin and Keaton. These two films are his first featurelengths, after a decade of making shorts, urged on by famed producer Hal Roach to expand his repertoire. Grandma's Boy features Lloyd as a man who needs to find courage to capture a fugitive; and A Sailor-Made Man sees him join the Navy to impress a girl.
