Archaeologist and historian Neil Oliver’s popular mix of narrative, clarity, keen observation and humour capture the drama, action and tragedy of history, giving us a unique understanding of military events and the astonishing stories within them.
Since qualifying as an archaeologist in 1988, Neil Oliver’s fieldwork experience has covered everything from the early Stone Age Scotland to the examination of World War II coastal fortifications of Kent and Northern France.
Neil Oliver’s talk will cover his recent projects and publications related to the Great War.
