Write a class story
This activity is linked to the National Profiles, Level 1, English.
Have the class design a book along similar lines to the Bunyip of Berkeley's Creek, the Bunyip of your school- Creek.

Materials:
The Bunyip of Berkeleys Creek
Large blank paper
Coloured pencils, textas, paint, glitter, etc.
Stiff cardboard for a book cover
Staples or strong tape to stick the book together
Teacher to write text in very large format on blank paper. Students in seating or groups of three or four to illustrated each page.
Stick the book together with a front cover and have the teacher read it aloud at a school assembly.
